Happy Halloween

Last year Macie was a little too small for trick or treating. So this year we were pretty excited to get her a costume and take her out. I have to admit I'm not a big Halloween fan, never have been. But this year my neighbor and fellow Rock Band mate, Ryan came up with a great idea.

He bought a projector and set up Rock Band in his driveway. We dressed up as 80's rockers and had a little get together. Halloween driveway parties are pretty common here in AZ since the weather is so nice. Groups of people get together in the neighbors driveway for food and movies. But first we took the little ones trick or treating. Hope you enjoy the pics.

Things have been so busy lately I haven't had time to update on a concert we went to a couple of weeks ago.

For years I have been wanting to catch a Jimmy Buffett show. He is such an icon and his shows are know for so much fun we couldn't wait to go. I have been to many a concert but this was probably one of the funnest. The people who are die hard fans of Jimmy are called Parrot Heads, note picture below.

Man these guys know how to party. It made you want to go on a cruise or to a beach in the Bahamas. If you ever get the chance to see a show I highly recommend it.

Baby #2 Update

We had our 20 week ultrasound today. It's a girl! Most importantly everything looked good on the US. She looks healthy and was very active. Wende is doing well with the pregnancy. Only 20 more weeks to go, we are half way there.

Phoenix Zoo

Time for the big animals. Since Macie enjoyed the petting zoo so much last week, we though we would try out the zoo. The weather just took a huge dip and we went from the 90's to low 70's. Luckily we got there right as the zoo opened because everyone else in Phoenix had the same idea we did. The weather was great and Macie loved the tigers and lions.





A little hard to see, but there are some big horn sheep on top of this rock.


She may look like me, but this is a total Wende look. Especially after I have said something to annoy her. Gotta love it.

The pig says....

Yesterday we took a trip to Schnepf farms. It's a local farm here in Queen Creek that holds various events throughout the year. This time of year they have their Pumpkin Festival. We heard that they had tons of stuff for kids, so we took Macie to check it out. She loved the animals especially the goats and ponies. I didn't think we were going to be able to get her out of the petting zoo.

I love you

It's really hard to say what Macie's first real word was. She's got a few of them now, da da, mama, jiki (Tiki), ma (more)....But nothing melted my heart as much as her first phrase. Wende was giving Macie a bath 2 nights ago and I walked in to see how the new bath crayons were going (you can see her handiwork on the bathtub). As soon as I entered the bathroom I heard 'love you'. It was the best moment. I know she will someday be mad at me and embarrassed for posting the infamous bath pics, but that is a chance I will take.
