Macie turns 2.

Our baby is 2. We can hardly believe how fast these last two years have flown by. Macie is the center of our life, (of course now with Cambri). We love them both so much. We have been blessed to have such a loving, happy, healthy child. Macie makes everyone smile that she comes in contact with.

Outside the typical toddler attitude at times, she is the happiest kid. She makes us laugh everyday. Happy Birthday Mae Mae. Love mommy and daddy!

Summertime Fun

With temps in the 100s all week I guess it is safe to say it is summer. Wende and I kicked it off with a night visiting Jimmy. The concert was great and it was nice for the two of us to get away on a date. Saturday we went swimming at the pool with the cousins. Macie loved the water, a much improvement from last summer.

Only a child....

Only a child could fall asleep like this. Macie was watching a movie this morning with Wende. After a few minutes she hadn't heard a peep from her. She looked down from the couch and this is what she saw. Looks comfortable right?


Macie is a great big sister and loves to help Cambri. She's even learning that she can't lift her sister by the head or pick her nose when she sees a 'boogie'.

Happy Easter/Spring

So as I mentioned in the last post, way behind on my photos and posts. But here are a few shots of the girls at Easter and some that Wende's friend Karie shot for us. Hope you all are loving spring time as much as we are.

The Zoo Part II.

It has been a couple of weeks ago, and I am way behind on posts, but we took our second trip to the zoo. We hadn't really been out much since Cambri was born and we all had a little cabin fever. Cambri was finally old enough we thought we could keep our germ anxiety in check in public. The weather was great and Macie loved the animals. We spent a little more time in the barnyard area this time where she could interact with the critters hands on. Wende's parents were in town for the weekend and midway through the morning were able to join us.

So we were feeling a bit guilty because we haven't taken near as many pictures of Cambri that we did of Macie by this point so I decided to do a little (very ameteur) photoshoot of her. Here are a few of my favorites!
