Newport 2010

Every year or so Wende's family gets together for a family vacation. Several times we have gone to Newport Beach which is where we went this year. It was a great week of trips to Disneyland, the beach and even a few days of doing nothing and taking it easy.

Disneyland

Of course no Holt trip to So Cal would be complete without a trip to Disneyland. We spent 2 days there and the girls loved it. Macie was too impatient to wait in line to meet any of the characters, but loved the rides. We had a great time and were all definitely worn out at the end of each day.

Choo Choo

Macie's new interest is trains (and wagons). Everytime we see a train she says "All aboard, Choo Choo!". From the train at the mall to Thomas the Train on TV it all about trains. Riding in her new wagon is just as fun. Actually I don't know who likes the wagon rides more, Macie or Cambri.

Christmas 2009

We hope your Christmas was great like ours. We made the trek to Salt Lake to visit family and friends. As you can see it was pretty cold. Something we don't miss at all. It was good for the girls to see their cousins and Macie couldn't get enough of her uncle John. Of course the biggest hit was the Barbie guitar as modeled below by uncle Kayvon, the true rocker of the family. Hope you all have a great new year.

Sooooooo big!!!

How big is Cambri? Sooooo big. She loves to play this game. What a happy child. We all love her so much. Even big sister Macie enjoys taking care of her. Speaking of Macie, we took our first trip to the ER last week. Not bad for almost 3 yrs. She got a little squirmy in her sleep and rolled out of bed at midnight and her bottom lip found the corner of her nightstand. Wende took her to the ER (because truth be told I am a wuss when it comes to my girls) and she did great! She let the doctor and tech clean up her laceration and glue it back together. Probably because they both were boys. We are in trouble.

The Girls

It's been a while since we have posted, so we wanted to post a few updated pictures. Cam is 9 months old and is pulling herself up and walking along edges. Macie loves being a big sister and loves playing and helping out with Cam...most of the time :)
