A Shocking good time
We took a little walk to the park just down the street last weekend. Being that it is 1300 degrees by noon this time of year we had to get there early. Luckily no one was there yet. So we had the whole area to ourselves to do a little swinging, rocking and even a some sliding. Macie wasn't all that impressed with the slide and the static electricity kept shocking my butt. However she did love the swing and we still had a good time.

Oh how I do not miss the AZ heat! I know the heat only lasts 2 months but after 12 years of it I feel I paid my dues. :) How long do you think you'll stay?
We've been in AR for 2 years and truly love it. There are a few quirks like anyplace but having green trees and lakes everywhere really fits us. With Paul's company's current buyout (Verizon found a loophole to buyout Alltel) things are a bit up in the air as far as job security so we could be moving anywhere starting 2009. Iz all good tho. ;)
p.s. The whole point of me leaving a msg was to say MACIE IS SO GORGEOUS! I bet she is such a joy to be around and your parents had to of LOVE seeing her. :D
How cute is Macie. I can't believe she is 1 already. Looks hot! It is plenty hot here. We don't envy your temperatures!

Macie is so dang cute!!! She has gotten so big since we saw her in California. I just sent you an email to invite me to your blog but it's not private so don't worry about it! Looks like you guys are doing great except for the heat. It has been so hot here so I can only imagine!!!
I love reading your blog. You crack me up! I think you and Brad and Jim all have the same sense of humor. Nobody makes me laugh like you guys. Macie is beautiful! You are going to have your hands full when she hits those teenage years. Good thing Grandpa taught you how to use a rifle... you are going to need it to keep the boys away! What a great family you have!
btw..Josh and I trained about three months for the tri- athalon. Probably too long of a training period. I was burnt out by the end. Still fun nonetheless.
This has nothing to do with the pics, but i just wanted to let you know that you can check our blog and on the side bar I list everyone's birthday that is in the upcoming month. just so we can do a better job at trying to remember to call everyone on time. This blog page thing needs to have a way to email another blog without it being open to everyone else. anyways, thats what I had to tell you. See you in a few weeks....we cant wait.
